– Thu, Aug 22, 2024 at 02:21:27 PM
Hi Everyone,
With the final closed beta out for a few weeks, we're gearing up to move things over to an open PC beta. We're aiming to have this launch around the first or second week of September, so stay tuned. All backers at all tiers will be able to access this; you'll just need a PC.
This beta will be similar to the final closed beta but will aim to fix some bugs and issues. Gameplay includes:
The complete visual novel storyline for Sam and Marshall.
The ability to play date rounds that will add Interest Points and progress to a new Romance Tier.
Once a new tier is unlocked, more of the visual novel is unlocked as well.
You can check your progress in the Connections tab inside the Homebase.
More art has been added to the cards.
You can also play in different locations from the Map. Each Location has its own deck, with various connection types and obstacles to overcome.
We'll do another update once this is ready to go out, so stay tuned!
What's better is that we have a special deal for you all! If you back Let's Play Volume 5 at any physical reward tier and were a backer of the Everdate Kickstarter, you will receive a $6 credit* in your post-campaign survey** that can go towards a hardcover upgrade, an add-on item, or off your overall shipping fee! So click here to back now!
*Credit is not redeemable for cashand is only applicable for one eligible Rocketshipcampaign backed (ex: if you backed Let's Play Volume 4 and Everdate you are only eligible for a $6 credit, not $12).
**There's nothing you'll need to do toredeem the credit, it will appear when you receive your Let'sPlay Volume 5survey after that campaign ends.
